Anime Momma Core Beliefs & Values: How that Stems to My Reviews
As a Christian mom and an avid anime watcher, I believe honesty and clarity matter—especially when it comes to the content our kids consume. The beliefs below shape how I approach anime, reviews, and conversations with parents. They’re not here to preach, pressure, or persuade, but to give you a clear picture of the lens I’m using as I write.

How This Connects to Anime Momma Reviews
I’m very aware that anime often explores themes that can be sensitive, controversial, or deeply debated—such as alternative lifestyle representation, sexualized content, “spicy” romances, large age gaps, demonic imagery, possession, and more.
When these topics appear, I address them clearly and honestly in my reviews—not to debate theology or tell families what they should believe, but to help parents and guardians understand what their child may encounter.
The goal of The Anime Momma Blog is simple: to give families the information they need to make thoughtful, confident viewing decisions—without fear, shame, or surprise.
If you’re a parent trying to navigate anime with wisdom and awareness, you’re in the right place. 💛

🌱 I Believe Anime Can Be Meaningful

✝️ I Believe Faith Matters
The Anime Momma Blog is shaped by my personal faith.
My faith encourages me to:
- Share honestly about my personal experiences
- Think critically and compassionately about media
- Care deeply about the well-being of families, kids, and teens
- Speak up when something feels important or worth questioning
This blog is one way I live that out—by reflecting, sharing my thoughts, and offering guidance rooted in care, responsibility, and love.
My faith influences how I approach reviews and conversations, but it is not something readers are required to share in order to feel welcome here. To see our Core Beliefs & Values, please review the “Core Beliefs” section below.
Core Beliefs
The Bible
I believe the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God and serves as the foundation for my faith.
God
I believe in one eternally existing God who reveals Himself in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things—seen and unseen—and is worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchanging and remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Jesus Christ
I believe in the full deity and humanity of Jesus Christ: His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, present exaltation, and future visible return.
The Holy Spirit
I believe the Holy Spirit has been active throughout history—from creation, to the writing of Scripture, to Jesus’ earthly ministry, and the work of salvation. Today, His ministry includes convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, as well as indwelling, empowering, guiding, and comforting believers.
Mankind
I believe mankind was created by God to enjoy fellowship with Him and to fulfill His purposes. Through voluntary disobedience, humanity fell into sin. As a result, all people are sinners by nature and by choice and, apart from Jesus Christ, are spiritually separated from God.
Salvation
I believe salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone. His death was the only sufficient, substitutionary sacrifice for sin, and all who place their faith in Him are justified and eternally secure through His death and resurrection.
The Church
I believe all who experience spiritual rebirth are part of the body of Christ—the true Church. Scripture calls believers to function together as one body, reflecting Christ to the world. Local churches serve as the visible expression of this universal Church.
Eternity
I believe every human being will experience bodily resurrection—eternal life with God for believers, and eternal separation from God for unbelievers.
At The Anime Momma Blog, my goal isn’t to parent for you—it’s to walk with you. I believe families deserve honest, balanced information so they can enjoy anime thoughtfully, confidently, and without surprises.
If that sounds like you, I’m really glad you’re here. 💛
