Section 3: Star Levels — Explained
Action/Violence Level
Still very gentle—with just a little more adventure sprinkled in this time!
As Ryoma travels between his shops in Gimul and Lenaf, he runs into a few fantasy creatures like wild boars, treants, and even giant ants. These moments add a bit of excitement, especially with the town festival coming up—but nothing feels overwhelming or intense.

Addiction Level
Oh my goodness… if you loved Season 1, you are going to feel right at home here.
Season 2 somehow manages to be just as cozy—if not even more so. We get to spend more time with the characters we already adore and meet new ones without losing that sense of connection.
And honestly?
A big part of the charm is just living life alongside them. Preparing for the town festival feels like:
- Setting up stalls
- Hiring helpers
- Gathering supplies
- Cooking yummy food
- Watching everything slowly come together
It’s peaceful, wholesome, and quietly so satisfying.

Blood/Gore Level
Very minimal—almost nonexistent.
Any combat is handled lightly and without detail, making this a very safe and comfortable watch, even for more sensitive viewers.

Inappropriate, Heavy, or Mature Themes or Conduct
This season stays wonderfully light, with very few concerns.
- Working Children / Hardship Themes: Ryoma befriends a group of children from the slums who work hard doing various jobs to improve their situation. It’s handled in a way that highlights perseverance and kindness rather than anything overly heavy.

- Work & Financial Struggles (Light Mentions): There are a few small moments where characters talk about needing work, moving for jobs, or helping their families financially.
- One example includes Miss Jane’s family sending goods to Ryoma in hopes of helping her situation. Ryoma responds with kindness and fairness, showing a wonderful example of integrity.

- Business Conflict (Very Mild): A few people attempt to cause trouble for Ryoma’s business, but these situations are resolved quickly and without stress.

👉 Anime Momma Take: These moments can actually be really great conversation starters about kindness, honesty, and helping others.

Alternative Lifestyle Themes
Very minimal here.
The only (sort-of) notable moment is when we are introduced to Eliaria’s classmate, Michelle, who wears a boys’ uniform. When asked why, Michelle simply states that it is more comfortable to wear. It did, however, confuse quite a few of their classmates, who initially thought she was a boy.
It’s brief, light, and not a major focus of the story.

Level of Magical Elements
Magic is still a central part of this world—but it feels more practical this season.
Rather than just being playful, magic is used for:
- Work and daily tasks
- Adventuring
- Business operations
- Problem-solving
It blends so naturally into everyday life, which keeps the world feeling calm rather than chaotic.

Level of Romance
Still as sweet and innocent as ever!
Ryoma and Eliaria mostly keep in touch through letters, sharing little updates about their lives. It’s gentle, age-appropriate, and very wholesome.

Section 4: Special Notes for Parents & Guardians
There are no additional notes for this season of By the Grace of the gods.

Final Thoughts
This season feels like sitting down with a warm blanket and just… resting for a while.
There’s no rush, no pressure—just steady, kind storytelling that reminds you:
- It’s okay to grow slowly
- It’s good to help others
- And sometimes, the quiet moments matter the most
